Police are investigating a robbery in the city this afternoon.
About 3.20pm on Tuesday 1 September, a 41-year-old man was walking along the southern footpath of Franklin Street when he was approached by an unknown man.
The suspect produced a knife and demanded the victim's wallet. The victim handed over the wallet and the offender ran from the scene in a westerly direction before heading south along Morphett Street.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, about 175cm tall, with a medium build, messy brown shoulder-length hair and a scruffy dark brown beard. He was wearing a red and black jacket, olive green cargo pants and brown shoes, with the left shoe held together by black electrical tape.
