Arrest made after fire in Adelaide

Just after 11pm on Sunday 29 August, police and fire crews were called to Balfours Way after reports of a fire lit outside a derelict building.

MFS worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.

Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries.

While police were at the scene, the alleged offender, a 40-year-old Adelaide woman attended and was arrested.

She has been charged with arson, her bail was refused and she will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
