A drink driver has been detected at Glynde

About 8pm on Saturday 29 August, police received multiple calls from SA Ambulance of a Mitsubishi station wagon driving erratically on Barnes Road.

The SAAS member continued to provide police with timely updates where the car was tracked to a nearby address.

Police located the driver nearby where he was submitted to a driver test where police will allege he returned a positive result of 0.237- nearly five times the legal limit.

The driver a 44-year-old-man from Glynde was reported for drink driving, issued a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and the car was impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
