A southern suburbs man was arrested for domestic violence offences and driving a stolen car.
Police were alerted that the man allegedly attended his ex-partner's southern suburbs address about 8pm last night, Thursday 5 November. This was in breach of an intervention order served two days prior. The man allegedly arrived in a car that had been stolen during an unrelated theft from Oaklands Park.
Patrols attended and arrested the 33-year-old man. It will also be alleged he was found in possession of a folding knife.
He was charged with breach of intervention order, illegal use of a motor vehicle and carry offensive weapon. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today.
The stolen car was returned to its owner.
