A man has been arrested after allegedly robbing another man of his vehicle at Elizabeth East.
About 12.30pm on Saturday 31 October, police were called to a group of shops on Spruance Road, Elizabeth East, after reports a man had been assaulted and had his Holden SV6 sedan stolen.
The victim, a man in his 50s, sustained minor injuries during the incident.
The stolen Holden was tracked via GPS as it travelled towards Adelaide before stopping at a hotel on Grand Junction Road, Northfield, where patrols quickly attended and recovered the vehicle.
Officers searched the hotel and located the man hiding inside where he was arrested without incident.
The 43-year-old Barossa man was charged with aggravated robbery, illegal use of a motor vehicle and drive disqualified.
He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday 2 November.
