Limestone Coast Traffic Wrap Up

The following drivers have been caught over the weekend in the Limestone Coast LSA.

On Friday 23 May police stopped a 34-year-old Mount Gambier man driving on North Terrace, Mount Gambier, and requested a drug test. The male provided a positive drug wipe and was reported for drug driving. He will appear in court at a later date.

On Saturday 24 May police stopped a 34-year-old man driving with a young child in his vehicle, driving on Mount Gambier Rd, Millicent. The male provided a positive drug wipe and was issued with an expiation notice for drug driving and issued with a 3-month instant loss of licence.

On Saturday 24 May police stopped a 28-year-old woman from Thornlea on Williams Rd Millicent driving an unregistered car. She provided a positive drug test and was with an expiation notice for drug driving.

On Sunday 25 May police stopped a 20-year-old woman from Victoria on Butler Terrace Naracoorte. The driver, a provisional licence holder provided a positive breath test of 0. 132. She was reported for drink driving and breach of licence conditions. She was issued with a 6-month instant loss of licence. Her vehicle was impounded for 28 days. She will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.

On Sunday 25 May police stopped a 19-year-old woman from Mount Gambier on Williams Rd Millicent, driving an unregistered vehicle. Checks on the driver showed she was disqualified from driving. She was reported for driving unregistered, uninsured and drive disqualified. Her vehicle was impounded for 28 days and she will appear in court at a later date.

On Monday 26 May police stopped a 54-year-old man from Joanna on Four Mile Rd Lucindale. The male provided a positive drug test and was reported for drug driving. He was issued with a 3-month instant loss of licence.
