UPDATE: Serious crash Hindmarsh Valley

About 6.15am today police and emergency crews were called to Victor Harbor Road to reports of a crash involving a Suzuki hatch and a Toyota van.

The driver of the Suzuki a 43-year-old woman from Port Elliot was treated at the scene and conveyed to hospital with serious injuries by SA Ambulance.

The driver of the van a 26-year-old man from Port Elliot was conveyed to hospital by SA Ambulance for minor injuries.

Traffic restrictions and road closures were in place on Victor Harbor Road for some time but have since reopened.
