A pedestrian has died following a crash at Mount Gambier yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to reports of a serious crash on Jubilee Highway West, Mount Gambier about 3.45pm on Wednesday 17 June after a pedestrian was struck by a ute.
Sadly the pedestrian, a 68-year-old Mount Gambier man, died at the scene.
The ute driver, a 23-year-old Glenburnie man, was not physically injured in the collision.
Jubilee Highway West was closed for traffic for several hours but reopened overnight.
Major Crash investigators attended and examined the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
