Roads reopen after serious crash at Gawler South

Police are investigating a hit-run crash at Gawler South last night that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency services responded to reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on Thirteenth Street at Gawler South just before 7pm on Thursday 26 June.

The pedestrian, a 52-year-old local woman, sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

Major Crash investigators, Barossa CIB detectives and forensic investigators attended the scene.

Thirteenth Street was closed to all traffic while investigators and examined the scene but has since reopened.
