A woman has lost her licence for a year after she was caught drink-driving in Coober Pedy.
About 6.30pm on Sunday 1 November, police were called to a service station on Oliver Street following reports of a Toyota station wagon that had collided with bollards in the car park.
Witnesses prevented the driver from leaving the scene until police arrived.
Police submitted the driver to a breath test which returned a positive reading.
When the woman was taken to Coober Pedy Police Station for a secondary breath analysis test, she refused to provide a breath test sample.
The 57-year-old Victorian woman was reported for refusing to comply with a breath analysis test and was issued an immediate loss of licence notice for 12 months, her car was impounded for 28 days and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
