Taser seized in search at Roxby Downs

It will be alleged that about 10.30am on Tuesday 26 August, police searched a house in Pine Crescent in relation to a drug search.

Police searched the property and located methamphetamine, a taser and attachments along with other drug paraphernalia.

The occupant of the property, a 33-year-old man returned to the premises in a car and underwent a roadside drug test. He tested positive to methamphetamine and was issued a three-month immediate loss of licence notice.

He was further charged with trafficking a controlled drug and possess dangerous article. He has been bailed to appear in the Roxby Downs Magistrates Court on 30 October.
