Man arrested in Whyalla overnight

About 12.40am Thursday 17 July, police were called to a home on Flinders Avenue with reports of a man trying to break into a parked car. The suspect left prior to patrols arriving and despite searching the area, he was not located.

Following a review of CCTV, police identified and swiftly arrested a 32-year-old local man who was charged with being unlawfully on premises and interfering with a motor vehicle. He was bailed to face the Whyalla Magistrates Court on 26 August.
