Three teens arrested over Newton break-in

About 1.45am on Sunday 25 May, police responded to alarm activations at a bottle shop on Gorge Road, Newton.

CCTV footage showed three suspects smashed the front door to gain entry to the premises before stealing alcohol.

Eastern District patrols searched the area and located suspects matching the descriptions from the CCTV on nearby Hamilton Terrace, Newton.  Police also located the stolen alcohol.

A 14-year-old boy from Newton, a 14-year-old boy from Andrews Farm and a 17-year-old boy from Salisbury were arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass and theft. They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 10 July.
