A teenager has been arrested and a stolen SUV seized at Windsor Gardens this morning.
Police were patrolling on Newell Street about 9.45am on Tuesday 16 June when they located a stolen Great Wall SUV parked on the street. The vehicle had been stolen during a break-in at a Holden Hill business in the early hours of Monday 15 June.
No one was initially located with the vehicle, however, while officers were making arrangements to have it towed for forensic examination, a man approached. He was searched and allegedly found in possession of the keys to the stolen SUV.
The 18-year-old man from Seaview Downs was arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle. He was granted bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 7 August.
Investigations into the break-in are continuing.
