Damage caused to business in overnight crash

Just before midnight last night Thursday 5 June, police and emergency crews were called to reports of a crash on Adelaide Street, Maylands.

A Holden sedan was travelling west at the intersection of Magill Road and Adelaide Street when it collided with a wall of a commercial business.

The driver a 17-year-old boy from Evandale and passenger a 17-year-old boy from Campbelltown received minor injuries.

Investigations into the collision are ongoing and police ask anyone who witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage to call Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.

The car was towed from the scene.

SES were in attendance to assist with securing significant damage caused to the business wall.
