Suspicious fire at Campbelltown

Police are investigating a suspicious house fire at Campbelltown earlier this morning.

At 6.20am today (Monday 13 December), police and MFS crews were called to a house in Karyn Ave, Campbelltown after reports of smoke coming from the roof of that house.

Fire crews extinguished the blaze soon after and no-one was injured in the fire.

Neighbours reported hearing a bang which alerted them to the fire, and seeing a person running from the scene.  That person is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 185cm tall, slim build, and wearing a dark couloured hooded top.
