Western District man arrested for child explotation offences

On Tuesday 22 September 2026, a 51-year-old man from the Western suburbs was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of child exploitation material and produce child exploitation material.

He has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 23 December.

Detective Inspector Anthony Van Der Stelt, Acting Officer in Charge Special Crime Investigation Branch said "This arrest reflects our tireless and absolute commitment to protecting children, including protecting them from online predators. Every child deserves to be safe; the protection of children remains our priority and police will continue to take appropriate action against those who engage in this type of offending.'
