Drink driver at Prospect

A man has been reported for drink driving after being stopped at Prospect this morning.

Just after 1am Thursday 21 May police stopped a Holden Station Wagon on York Street and conducted a roadside breath test.

The driver a 24-year-old man from Adelaide allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.149 nearly three times the legal limit.

Checks on the driver’s licence revealed that he was disqualified from driving.

He has been reported for drink driving, disqualified driving and issued a six-month instant loss of licence.

He will be summoned to attend Magistrates Court at a later date.
