Clan lab discovered at Cheltenham

Just after 7.30am on Sunday 20 September, police attended a home at Cheltenham as part of an ongoing investigation into recent diesel thefts across metropolitan Adelaide.

While at the address, police conducted a search and located a clandestine lab in the rear garage and remnants of a cannabis grow room.

A 33-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested and charged with nine counts of fuel theft, possess cannabis and possess prescribed hydroponic equipment. He was refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing and further charges are likely once the laboratory analysis is complete.
