Speeding driver caught at Verran

A man has been detected driving 46km/h over the speed limit on the Eyre Peninsular.

At 5.45pm on Thursday 21 May Highway Patrols were conducting speed detection duties on Lincoln Highway, Verran when they detected a Honda sedan travelling at 156km/h in a 110 km/h speed zone.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver a 36-year-old man from Torrensville was issued with an expiation notice for $2059 and six-month instant loss of licence.
