The Horrocks Highway has been reopened following a serious crash at Stanley Flat, in the Clare Valley, this morning.
Two cars collided on the Horrocks Highway, Stanley Flat, near Barinia Road, just after 9.30am on Thursday 4 June.
One of the drivers, a 66-year-old Clare woman, sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
The other driver, a 26-year-old woman from Whyalla Stuart, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the local hospital by ambulance.
The Horrocks Highway was closed with traffic diversions for most of the day while Major Crash investigators conducted an examination of the scene. Traffic restrictions were lifted about 6.30pm and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
