A man has lost his licence for a year after a crash at Goolwa.

About 9.20pm on Tuesday 3 November, police were called to Gardiner Street near Port Elliot Road after reports that a Holden ute had left the road and collided with a bush.

The driver and sole occupant, a 47-year-old Goolwa man was not injured.

He underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.153.

Further checks revealed the man’s licence was disqualified.

He was reported for drink-driving, driving while disqualified and he was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice.

His car was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
