Drink driver stopped at Salisbury

08 Jun 2026 6:41am

A man has lost his licence after he was caught drink driving.

About 2am today Monday 8 June, police saw a Suzuki hatch travelling on Kelly Road without its lights on.

Police stopped the Suzuki and submitted the driver a 32-year-old man from Torrensville to a driver test where it will be alleged he returned a positive result of 0.125 - more than two times the legal limit.

The driver was reported for drink driving and issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
