Police have released vision of a suspect as they continue to investigate a suspicious fire at Kidman Park earlier this month.

Just before 5.30pm on Sunday 12 July, police and MFS were called to Canino Drive after reports of flames and smoke coming from the roof of a house.

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control.

The home was vacant at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit, and Fire Cause investigators attended the scene.

Following a review of CCTV footage in the area, police have identified a suspect who was captured leaving the scene on a motorbike.

Western District Investigators are urging anyone with information on the person’s identity to come forward.
