Woman arrested at Lonsdale

A woman has been arrested for weapon-related offences following a traffic stop early this morning.

About 2.20am on Monday 14 September, patrols stopped a Subaru sedan on Brian Road for a driver test.

Checks revealed the driver, a 33-year-old Morphett Vale woman was disqualified from driving.

During a search of the vehicle police located a metal baton, knuckle dusters and a pocketknife.

The woman was arrested and charged with driving while disqualified and possessing prohibited weapons.

She was granted bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court at a later date.
