A man was arrested after a stolen trailer was seized at Edwardstown last night.
About 6.30pm on Wednesday 10 June, police were travelling on South Road at Edwardstown when they spotted a ute towing a canopy style trailer travelling south.
Police had previously received a report of a white Nissan ute being involved in the theft of a similar trailer from a business at Lonsdale in the early hours of Sunday 7 June.
Officers stopped the vehicle on Dunorlan Road after checks revealed the registered owner was disqualified.
The trailer was inspected and found to have false plates attached however it was identified as the trailer stolen from Lonsdale.
Other stolen camping items were located in the ute and all property was returned to the owner.
A 34-year-old man from Flagstaff Hill was arrested and charged with being unlawfully on premises, theft and unlawful possession. He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 31 July.
