Woman arrested at Craigmore

A woman has been arrested after an attempted car break-in in the northern suburbs this morning.

About 5.40am on Thursday 28 May, police were called to Birch Grove, after reports a member of the public had detained a person attempting to break into a car.

Police quickly attended and arrested the suspect at the scene.

The 41-year-old woman from Elizabeth Park was charged with interfering with a motor vehicle and unlawful possession.

Her bail was refused and she will attend the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
