Witnesses sought in Smithfield Plains

The two men then allegedly ran after a third male who was forced to take evasive action resulting in him being hit by a passing Holden SUV.

The driver of the car then stopped and contacted Police.

Police are seeking dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.

The two men were seen to run off towards Hodby Crescent and are described to be of African and Middle Eastern appearance wearing dark clothing, hoods pulled up over their heads and one wearing a face mask (pictured below).
