Suspicious unit fire Smithfield

Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at a block of units on Moir Street about 10am on Sunday 20 September.

MFS crews quickly extinguished the blaze at one of the units and prevented it from spreading to the adjoining homes.

Thankfully there were no reports of injury.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious and crime scene investigators will be attending the scene.
