Police have reported a man after he was allegedly detected travelling at extreme speed at Elizabeth Park yesterday.
About 12.30pm on Wednesday 20 May, a yellow Suzuki motorcycle was detected by a static traffic camera travelling at 140 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Tolmer Road, Elizabeth Park.
About 10 minutes later, patrols from Northern District Policing Teams attended an address on Andrews Road, Elizabeth Downs, where the motorcycle was located in the front yard.
The rider, a 24-year-old man from the address was reported for drive a motor vehicle at an extreme speed, drive unlicensed, drive an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, and drive with an imitation number plate.
He was issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and the motorcycle was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
