Drink-driver stopped at Murray Bridge

Just before 10.30pm on Wednesday 27 May, police attended Olympic Drive after reports of a crash involving a Ford sedan.

The driver, a 24-year-old woman from Rockleigh was submitted to a test and provided a blood alcohol reading of 0.179.

A search of the vehicle located a large samurai style knife near the drivers seat.

The driver was reported for aggravated driving without due care, drink-driving and carrying an offensive weapon.

She was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and the car was impounded for 28 days.

She will attend court at a later date.
