Wanted man Christopher Marsh arrested

Christopher Marsh, 47, was wanted for a number of serious offences for which a warrant was issued in South Australia.

Marsh was arrested in East Melbourne this morning along with another wanted South Australian man he was in company with.

The 32-year-old man from Hallett Cove, a Comanchero associate, was wanted on outstanding warrants and for breaching his bail.

Last week, Police seized a SKS style firearm believed to have been in the possession of Marsh.

Detectives from Northern District CIB are seeking extradition of Marsh to South Australia while Crime Gangs Task Force Detectives will apply for the second man's extradition at their next court appearance in Melbourne.

Further information regarding charges will be provided when the men return to South Australia.
