Three men charged with firearm offences at Elizabeth Vale

Just after 8pm on Wednesday 27 May, police stopped a Holden sedan on Haydown Road.

The driver, a 30-year-old man from Elizabeth Downs, and two passengers were spoken to before a search of the car was conducted with police locating a small amount of drugs, drug paraphernalia, a gel blaster handgun and parts of a gel blaster rifle.

The driver and two passengers, a 22-year-old man from Aldinga Beach and a 21-year-old man of no fixed address were arrested and charged with firearms offences.

The 21-year-old was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

The other men were granted bail and will attend the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on July 30.
