Officers from Operation Measure have arrested a teenage girl as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged retail theft offences.
About 1.50pm on Wednesday 4 November, officers attended a Morphett Vale address and arrested a 13-year-old girl as part of an investigation into a series of alleged retail thefts across the metropolitan area this year.
Police will allege the girl committed 28 theft offences between February and November at sporting retail and liquor stores from Unley to Elizabeth.
She was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Friday 18 December.
SAPOL's Operation Measure, established in March 2022, works closely with Crime Stoppers, retailers, loss prevention managers, security personnel and operations managers to identify and apprehend people responsible for repeat retail theft and violence against retail workers.
