Hit and run at Modbury

About 3pm on Thursday 3 September, police and emergency crews were called to North East Road to reports of a crash involving a black Holden sedan and a Toyota sedan.

The Holden fled the scene shortly after the crash and was located nearby in a carpark on North East Road.

Police searched the area and were unable to locate any suspects.

Checks on the Holden revealed that it had been stolen from a Blair Athol home earlier today.

The driver of the Toyota was not injured during the collision and is assisting police with the investigation.
