Cars damaged in Panorama fire

Southern District patrols and Metropolitan Fire Service crews were called to Lyall Avenue, Panorama, just after 10pm on Sunday 27 September following reports of a vehicle fire.

A 1999 Holden VT Commodore was deliberately set alight, with the fire spreading to a nearby Nissan sedan. Fire crews extinguished the blaze, however the Holden was destroyed and the Nissan sustained damage.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit and investigations are continuing.
