Police are urging Coober Pedy residents and business owners to review their security arrangements and take simple steps to help prevent break-ins and thefts.
Many offences can be prevented by ensuring homes and businesses are properly secured. Opportunistic offenders often target properties where doors, windows, gates, sheds or vehicles have been left unlocked, making it easy to gain entry.
