Police seek information following Whyalla crime series

Whyalla police are seeking assistance from the public following a series of house break-ins and stolen vehicles over the June long weekend.

Between 10pm on Sunday 7 June and 6am on Monday 8 June, a number of homes were broken into and six vehicles were stolen across the Whyalla area.

Police are requesting any CCTV or dashcam footage from the following areas:

  • Whyalla area west of Playford Avenue
  • James Street, Whyalla Norrie
  • O’Brien Close and Bean Street, Whyalla
  • Lacey Street, east of Playford Avenue
  • Haynes Street, Whyalla Norrie

All six stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

Investigations are ongoing as police work to identify those responsible.
