Police seek information following Whyalla crime series

Whyalla police are seeking assistance from the public following a series of house break-ins and stolen vehicles over the June long weekend.

Between 10pm on Sunday 7 June and 6am on Monday 8 June, a number of homes were broken into and six vehicles were stolen across the Whyalla area.

Police are requesting any CCTV or dashcam footage from the following areas:

Whyalla area west of Playford Avenue
James Street, Whyalla Norrie
O’Brien Close and Bean Street, Whyalla
Lacey Street, east of Playford Avenue
Haynes Street, Whyalla Norrie

All six stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

Investigations are ongoing as police work to identify those responsible.
