Police have arrested a teenage boy for riding an unregistered dirt bike on Wednesday evening.
About 8.45pm on Wednesday 20 May 2026, police were called to on King Street after reports of a youth riding a dirt bike and narrowly avoiding a crash.
Police located the rider, a 15-year-old local boy, with an unregistered and uninsured KTM dirt bike and arrested him.
He underwent driver testing and returned a drug test positive to cannabis. He was charged with riding an unregistered and uninsured bike and riding unlicensed.
He was bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
