Man arrested over attempted city break-in

Police were called to Cypress Street, Adelaide, at 10.45pm on Tuesday 20 October after a man was seen using an angle grinder to try to get into a building.

Patrols arrived quickly and arrested the suspect, allegedly in possession of the angle grinder.

The 36-year-old Adelaide man was charged with attempted serious criminal trespass, going equipped to commit an offence and unlawful possession.

He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
