The SA Police Road Safety Centre has recently joined and is proud to be part of Lifeblood Teams, the group donation program from Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. The SA Police Road Safety team has joined to highlight road safety in South Australia and we would love the community to join our team to donate blood and save lives.
Donated blood can be used to help people in all sorts of life-giving ways. The need is constant and the person receiving it could have been seriously injured in a car crash, fighting cancer, going through a difficult pregnancy or they could be someone who relies on regular transfusions to stay healthy.
Register and join the SA Police Road Safety Lifeblood Team here.
To promote the SA Police Road Safety Lifeblood Team we will be sharing stories from people who have been affected by road trauma or who would like to donate for this cause – keep an eye out on our social media and website for their stories. If you wish, join us and share your story on social media, use the hashtags #sapolroadsafety and #givebloodgivelife to link it to this challenge. Every donation you make with our team or by yourself counts.
The SA Police Road Safety team is not part of the Red25 challenge that SAPOL have participated in previously – this is a separate challenge to promote road safety.
