Child Sex Offender Register

Making it easier for South Australians to access information related to convicted child sex offenders.

This service allows members of the South Australian community to apply to access specific information for child-safety purposes.

Each application is assessed, and access is provided only where eligibility requirements are met and only to information relevant to the request. This service does not provide unrestricted or general public access to the register.

The service offers three types of applications, depending on your circumstances:

  • Wanted Child Sex Offenders: View images and details of wanted child sex offenders who are not complying with mandatory reporting obligations.
  • Local Search: Apply to view images of serious child sex offenders living in your local suburb. Access is subject to identity verification and eligibility checks.
  • Disclosure Request: Apply to check whether a person who has had unsupervised contact with a child in your care, has a history of child sex offences. Disclosure is limited to what is relevant to the application.
