White Ribbon Accreditation

SAPOL proudly accredited by White Ribbon - White Ribbon Workplace We are proud to announce that South Australia Police (SAPOL) has once again been formally recognised with Workplace Accreditation from White Ribbon Australia.

This important achievement, first awarded to SAPOL on 15 June 2016, reflects SAPOL’s enduring commitment to preventing violence against women and fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace. SAPOL successfully attained reaccreditation on 15 May 2025. On 29 May 2025 White Ribbon representative Laurie Arrowsmith presented the White Ribbon Accreditation Award to Commissioner Stevens.

SAPOL’s participation in the White Ribbon Australia Workplace Accreditation program reflects our leadership in addressing domestic and family violence, both within the community and our organisation. As police officers and staff, we are in a unique position to influence change and model the values of respect, safety, and equality.

This accreditation recognises the comprehensive policies, procedures, training, and initiatives we have implemented to support a safe working environment and to stand firmly against gender-based violence. It is a testament to the dedication and efforts of all SAPOL employees in creating a workplace culture that does not tolerate violence in any form.

Together, we are making a difference—not only within SAPOL but across the broader South Australian community.
