SAPOL Annual Report 2022-23

SAPOL’s Annual Report for 2022-23 was tabled in Parliament on Thursday, 30 November by the Minister. It is an important document which records our overall work performance for the last financial year.

Key figures for the 2022-23 financial year:

  • 25,399 arrests were made.
  • 195 litres of fantasy, 3,625 cannabis plants and over 41 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized.
  • Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team saved 23 children and made 88 arrests.
  • 568,591 alcohol and 54,288 drug tests conducted.
  • Our call centre staff took 557,347 and issued 581,272 taskings.

Other interesting stats from the 2022-23 report put into context just how much we do for the community of South Australia:

  • Our website had over 23 million hits; our Facebook page had 596,000 followers and our X (Twitter) account had 172,000 followers.
