Pride at SAPOL - LGBTIQA+ Strategy 2025-2030

South Australia Police (SAPOL) is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment and to strengthening relationships with LGBTIQA+ communities across South Australia.

Our Strategy reflects our commitment to building relationships and trust in our police service, and the pride we have in our people and in our community.  It provides a framework for enhancing LGBTIQA+ inclusion and celebrating diversity, ensuring that all SAPOL employees can be their authentic selves at work and that LGBTIQA+ community members feel confident to engage with us.

The Strategy outlines our vision for a workplace and community where every individual feels safe, respected, and empowered. Guided by our long-term goal “Together in Pride: Safeguarding diversity, fostering inclusion”, it sets out priorities to reduce barriers faced by LGBTIQA+ people in the workplace and when accessing policing services.
