The SA Police Road Safety Centre is hosting a free, 2-hour road safety session to help parents, grandparents, carers and community members keep children safe on South Australia’s roads.

This practical session provides clear, easy-to-understand guidance on everyday situations where children are most at risk, along with simple steps to improve their safety.

What you’ll learn

Participants will gain practical knowledge and tips on:

  • Travelling safely in vehicles, including the correct use of seatbelts and child restraints
  • Pedestrian safety, with a focus on common risks such as driveways and reversing vehicles
  • Riding bikes and scooters safely, including key safety tips and South Australian legal requirements
