12 Sep 2019 5:47pm

Police have arrested a man following an investigation into the theft of a motor cycle in Novar Gardens.

At about 9.30am today (Thursday 12 September) patrols were called to Morphett Road after reports of an abandoned Kawasaki motorcycle.

Further investigations led police a nearby unit on James Melrose Road where they uncovered a stolen Mitsubishi van, a number of stolen registration plates, an electric pushbike and a second stolen motorcycle.

A 26-year-old from Novar Gardens was charged with two counts of thefts and three counts of unlawful possession. He has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates on 15 October.

Investigations are continuing.
