A man has been arrested after allegedly entering a construction site at Novar Gardens in the early hours of this morning.
Just before 3.30am on Sunday 2 August police were called to Nagle Crescent after a neighbour reported a car had pulled up outside a home under construction and believed the occupants of the car were up to no good.
Southern District patrols arrived on scene and located a silver Holden sedan out the front of the premises. The officers could hear activity out the rear of the home and they quickly set up cordons.
Police Dog Zac was called in to assist with the search and he tracked a scent to the rear of the site where he located a man hiding behind a rain water tank.
A 25-year-old man from Morphettville was arrested and taken to the City Watch House where he was charged with being unlawfully on premises. He was granted police bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 25 September.
Police are still investigating and believe a second suspect is wanted for this offence. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
