Two men will appear in court after they were charged with traffic offences in the Murray Mallee region over the weekend.
Police will allege that just after 7pm on Friday 6 September, a patrol stopped a Ford Econovan on Angas Valley Road at Walker Flat for a mobile driver screening test. The driver refused a breath analysis and was subsequently reported for drink driving.
The 45-year-old man from Croydon Park was issued with an instant loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
About 11.15am on Sunday 8 September, police stopped a Ford Courier utility on Hunter Road at Bowhill for a random driver test. Police checks indicated the 67-year-old man from Young Husband was disqualified from driving.
He submitted to a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.037.
The man was arrested for driving with while being disqualified, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and drink driving. He was granted bail and will appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 21 October.
