A woman has died following a crash at Kangarilla this afternoon.
About 3.15pm on Tuesday 19 November, police and emergency services responded to reports of a car hitting a tree on McLaren Flat Road.
The driver and sole occupant of the Peugeot, a 72-year-old woman from Clarendon, sadly died at the scene.
McLaren Flat Road was closed for several hours between Peters Creek Road and Toops Hill Road while Major Crash Investigators examined the scene. The road has since been reopened.
The woman’s death brings the state’s road toll to 99 compared with 66 at the same time last year.
